The Chocolate Aromas collection contains a publication and 12 samples of aromas to smell.
The publication provides the important information to understand where Chocolate comes from, its characteristics, how to taste it, what aromas can be found in a quality product and how to train the nose to recognize them. For example, a high quality Chocolate may have hints of white flowers, others of tobacco, but these aromas are difficult for an inexperienced nose to identify.
The 12 aroma samples help you to train your sense of smell while having fun. Try to smell the samples in a blind smell test and measure the progress of your olfactory sense. Once you have memorized a particular aroma, it will be much easier to identify, in its delicate forms, in a Chocolate that you taste.
The aroma samples to smell include 12 aromas frequently present in high quality Chocolate:
- Fresh Cream
- White Fowers (Acacia)
- Citrus Fruit
- Red Berries (Black Currant)
- Nuts (Roasted Hazlenut)
- Green Leaf
- Earthy notes
