Most people can easily recognize the scent of white and yellow flowers, however, have a more difficult time identifying the specific flower, such as acacia, hawthorn, or elderberry.

In Chocolate, the scent of acacia is sometimes present in certain types of cocoa of an excellent quality, such as Nacional of Equador and Venezuelan and Mexican Criollo.

White and yellow flowers are part of a category of aromas which is found in almost all dry White Wines. Some notable examples are in the grape varieties Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer, and in some fresh Moscati from the Piedmont region in Italy.
