Passion Fruit

Passion Fruit aroma TasterPlace
Passion Fruit is a typical aroma of some grape varieties, so much so that it is often used in tastings to describe a wine's bouquet. In fact, the aromatic molecules of Passion Fruit are present in high concentrations in different varieties of white grapes.
The aroma is therefore considered "varietal" and develops only during the fermentation phase originating from molecules present in the grapes.
